Year 5Welcome to Year 5
Year 5 marks the beginning of Upper Key Stage 2, an exciting stage where children are encouraged to develop greater independence and take on increased responsibility as they enter their final two years of primary school.
Throughout the year, we continue to nurture a love of learning through a broad and balanced curriculum that builds upon the knowledge and skills developed in previous years.
Our carefully planned Year 5 curriculum enables children to develop a deep and varied understanding of key topics, while making meaningful links across different subjects.
To enrich their learning further, children also have the opportunity to take part in a range of educational trips, including a memorable three-day residential visit to PGL in Kingswood, Kent.
