Year Groups

Year 4

Welcome to Year 4

In Year 4 children continue to develop their independence and start to prepare for their transition and learning in Upper KS2. It is in this year that children will take the new mandatory multiplication check in the summer term and take part in swimming lessons. As part of our broad and enquiring curriculum, the children will study topics with robust curriculum connections that build on the knowledge and skills developed in previous years. They will also enjoy three consecutive days at Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre (HOAC). Along the same corridor as Year 3, Year 4 pupils grow to become great role models for the younger children arriving from KS1.
