Religious Education Policy
Click HereNorth Ealing Primary School (NEPS) is an inclusive school. We aim to inspire and nurture all children to become aspirational, lifelong learners, who embrace and celebrate diversity. Through our learning values and for Curriculum Principles (Nurturing Values, Enquiring, Purposeful Learning and Sustainability) we encourage children to become independent, reflective, respectful and engaged learners who are determined to achieve their best.
Our school is a Gold Right Respecting School, with a Rights Respecting ethos at the heart of everything we do. This policy supports this ethos and the principles behind it.
North Ealing Primary School is a local authority maintained school, therefore we deliver RE in line with the locally agreed syllabus, which was updated in 2020. The ‘Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education for the London Borough of Ealing’ has been developed by the SACRE, supported by Religious Education professionals, including the borough’s RE Network of school RE subject heads. This document replaces the previous syllabus for Religious Education ‘Sowing the Seeds of the Future: An Explanation of Human Beliefs and Values’.
