Nursery Applications

There are 26 full time places and 26 part time places

• 15 hours a week for free early education (the ‘Universal Entitlement’)

• Plus 15 hours per week ‘Extended Entitlement’ for those who are eligible and in possession of a valid HMRC code

• 15 hours Universal Entitlement plus 15 hours (including lunch time sessions) parent/carer paid at £120.00

• Parents/carers will be invoiced for the month and payment must be made before the start of each month

Yes, parents/carers may opt to purchase a hot meal for their Nursery child. Please note, the funding for free school meals only applies to Reception to year 6 pupils. Meals are provided by ISS (feedinghungryminds.co.uk), and parents/carers must register with them and keep their child’s account in credit.

Can I choose certain days for my child to attend?

No – Your child will need to attend 5 days a week, and Nursery pupils’ attendance is monitored in line with school policy.

Nursery places will be allocated on the following criteria:

• Looked After Children who are currently in public Care and previously Looked After

• Children who have left Care due to adoption, special guardianship or child arrangements order.

• Children who have an exceptional medical, social or educational need that requires their attendance at a particular school.

• Children who have siblings who will be attending the school in September 2026.

• Children of staff working directly for North Ealing Primary School for at least two years.

• Children living closest to North Ealing Primary School

Closing date for September 2026 applications is Friday 30th January 2026 (any application after this date will be considered and placed on our waiting list)

Any applications submitted during the course of the year will be placed on our waiting list. You may only apply during the year immediately prior to your child’s admission. Any earlier applications will be disregarded.

• As North Ealing Primary is heavily oversubscribed we recommend that you make alternative ‘back up’ arrangements in case you are not able to secure a place

• If you have children in other schools please consider what arrangements you may need to make in order to get your children to school and our nursery for an 8.45 am start. The same applies at the end of the day when collecting children at 3.00 pm.

• All the children in Nursery wear a school uniform

• The closing date for September 2026 on-time applications is Friday 30th January 2026

• The criteria which will be used are as follow:

• An offer of a place will be withdrawn if proof of existing address on the day of allocation cannot be verified or falls outside of the admission criteria

A place at North Ealing Primary Nursery DOES NOT GUARANTEE A PLACE IN North Ealing Primary School Reception Class

• Application for admission into Reception must be made through the Local Authority who will allocate places

• THE SCHOOL CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR INFORMATION ENTERED INCORRECTLY ON THE APPLICATION FORM
