KS1 Singers - Summer Fair

Put your best smile on your face.
Stand up tall, move into space.
Ev’rybody touch their nose and then their toes
And stretch up to the sky.
Now we’re gonna stamp our feet, click to the beat
Then reach our arms up high.

It’s gonna be a great, great day.
It’s gonna be a great, great day.
I’m bursting with amazing energy.
I’m gonna try my very best.
I’m gonna try my very best.
I’m bursting with amazing energy.

Shrug your shoulders up and down.
Clap your hands and turn around.
Now we’re going to say good morning to our neighbour,
Turn and shake their hand.
Ev’rybody give the thumbs up, A-O.K.
That this day will be grand.

It’s gonna be a great, great day.
It’s gonna be a great, great day.
I’m bursting with amazing energy.
I’m gonna try my very best.
I’m gonna try my very best.
I’m bursting with amazing energy.

Bears like to boogie
Bison boogie-woogie
Buffalo know just how to show that they are really groovy

Bears like to boogie
Bison boogie-woogie
Buffalo know just how to show that they are so cool

The monkeys are swingin’
They hang out in the trees
See the hairy chimpanzees the hairy gorillas
The monkeys are swingin’
And so are chimpanzees
See them swingin’ from the trees

Kangaroos and wallabies are jumpin’
The rhythm is really thumpin’ loud
What a crowd

Kangaroos and wallabies are jumpin’
The rhythm is really thumpin’ loud
For this great crowd

Bears like to boogie
Bison boogie-woogie
Buffalo know just how to show that they are really groovy

Bears like to boogie
Bison boogie-woogie
Buffalo know just how to show that they are so cool

Lions and tigers are the coolest of cats
Cheetahs and jaguars would like to be like that

Kangaroos and wallabies are jumpin’
The rhythm is really thumpin’ loud
What a crowd

Kangaroos and wallabies are jumpin’
The rhythm is really thumpin’ loud
For this great crowd

It’s evening time, the day is done, the moon is rising high,
And soon there will be twinkling stars appearing in the sky,
It’s evening, it’s evening, it’s evening and the day is done,
It’s evening, it’s evening, let’s get together everyone.
(Repeat)
